Special Edition: Media, Pennsylvania's "Welcome Home 2012"--- Honoring Our Returning Veterans

"From the World Wars of Europe to the jungles of the Far East, from the deserts of the Middle East to the African Continent, and even here in our own hemisphere, our veterans have made the world a better place and America the great country we are today."  Sen. John Hoeven

Earlier today,  I had the great pleasure and privilege of watching Media, PA, and WPHT (1210 AM) with Dom Giordano, put on an outstanding Welcome Home parade and event for our returning veterans.

There were several thousand people who showed up to show their appreciation to our all our veterans, especially those who returned from serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. The turnout was outstanding considering Media has a population of about 10,000 residents. The town's streets were lined with spectators from one end of town to the other (about 6 blocks long).

In addition to the parade and ceremonies, there was also an Outreach and Career Awareness Fair at the Courthouse.

Dedicated to Heroes wants to take a moment to thank many of the companies, sponsors and providers who made this event a resounding success:
